Job Overview
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group, is seeking a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic. This role performs light maintenance work under close supervision and represents the first stage of training toward Service Technician status.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance type work (preventive maintenance, pre‑delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
Assist Service Technician in heavy‑duty truck repair.
Attend training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area and properly handle company tools.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications
Performs maintenance type work (preventive maintenance, pre‑delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
Assists Service Technician in heavy‑duty truck repair.
Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
