TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for a 13‑week assignment in Rockford, Illinois. Shift: 10‑hour nights, 40 hours per week. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients.
Follow orders from physicians regarding the area of the patient's body that needs imaging.
Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position.
Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions.
Calibrate imaging equipment.
Prepare results for physicians to review.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech.
BLS certification.
ARRT (R) National Certification.
State‑specific licensing when required.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
