Job Overview
You’ll be part of the Amazon grocery team that supports online grocery orders. You’ll work in a warehouse that is the size of a grocery store, preparing orders in refrigerated and freezer spaces. The work can be cold; protective gear will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare grocery orders for delivery.
Use technology such as computers, smartphones, mobile apps, and barcode scanners.
Intake new grocery inventory and put it away.
Check for order quality.
Rotate tasks throughout the week.
Physical requirements:
Lift up to 49 pounds.
Work in temperatures as low as
-10°F
and up to
90°F
for extended periods.
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items.
Go up and down stairs (where applicable).
Handle a variety of products, including pork, other meats, and alcohol.
