Job Overview
Our law firm client is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney with a strong background in estate planning and/or probate law to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, drafting estate planning documents, and guiding clients through complex estate and probate matters.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Advise clients on estate planning strategies to preserve and transfer wealth
Handle probate and trust administration matters from start to finish
Represent clients in probate proceedings when necessary
Conduct client consultations and provide tailored legal advice
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws related to estate planning and probate
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to manage caseload efficiently
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active bar license in Florida
8+ years of experience in estate planning and/or probate law
Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, and estate administration
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
Requirements
Billable hours requirement: 1,800 hours annually
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between
$160,000 - $210,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
