
Interim Midstream Oil/Gas M&A Attorney (Houston)

Our client, a global oil and gas company located in Houston, TX, is seeking support for about 4 months (with potential for extension) from a Midstream M&A Attorney. This role will be at least 20 hours per week with potential flexibility up to 40 hours per week as needed, hybrid in their Houston office.
Responsibilities will include:
M&A / Transactions
Support M&A transactions involving midstream assets (gathering systems, processing plants, pipelines, terminals)
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, asset purchase agreements, and merger agreements
Manage due diligence processes — reviewing title, contracts, environmental, and regulatory matters
Gathering & Processing Agreements
Draft and negotiate gas gathering agreements, gas processing agreements, and gas purchase agreements
Handle firm transportation agreements, interruptible service contracts, and interconnect agreements
Advise on dedication provisions, acreage commitments, volume commitments, and MVCs (minimum volume commitments)
Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the above areas. Pay will be $100-110 per hour, via a W-2 through Legalpeople. All qualified candidates must be open to working on-site in their Houston office.
