Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
Provide guidance on partnerships, LLCs, and joint venture structures
Support private equity transactions and fund formation matters
Work on real estate transactions and real estate investment trusts (REITs)
Assist in financing and capital markets transactions
Collaborate closely with corporate attorneys on deal structuring
Manage substantial components of transactions independently
Qualifications
3–4 years of experience as a Tax Associate Attorney in transactional tax work
Strong background in corporate and M&A tax matters
Experience handling key components of transactions independently
Admission to the California Bar or eligibility (California Bar required)
Excellent academic credentials and law firm experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
