Field Organizer - Grace Lee for NY State Senate District 27
Grace Lee for NYC seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a full-time Field Organizer for the 2026 primary campaign cycle. This is a full-time, Manhattan-based position that will require in-person work at various events, including some work on nights and weekends. We are open to a variety of experiences and work backgrounds.
Responsibilities
Executing the campaign's voter contact plan through canvassing, phone banking, and other outreach in a multi-lingual, multicultural district
Recruiting, training, and managing campaign volunteers and interns
Managing and cutting turf assignments for canvass operations
Tracking and reporting field performance metrics, including voter contacts, volunteer shifts, and event attendance
Entering and maintaining accurate data in the campaign's voter file and reporting tools
Qualifications
At least one cycle of campaign, organizing, or community engagement experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing short-term and long-term priorities
Ability to work a campaign schedule, including evenings and weekends
A team player who can also self‑direct and work independently
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with VAN/VoteBuilder, dialers, relational organizing tools, or text banking platforms is a plus
Fluency in Spanish and/or a Chinese dialect is a plus
Compensation & Timeline
Compensation starts at $3,250 per month, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position through June 2026. Start date is immediate.
