A Day in the Life
Across our global Neuroscience organization, we advance care for some of medicine’s most complex neurological and spinal conditions. We partner with physicians and health systems to improve how patients are treated and supported throughout their care journey.

Our Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) operating unit advances surgical care for spine and cranial conditions through an integrated ecosystem of implants, navigation, robotics, imaging, and planning tools. Platforms like AiBLE enhance precision, efficiency, and outcomes for complex procedures worldwide.

Remote
This day shift position (9AM-6PM EST) is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere within the United States.

As an Image Processing Specialist, you will operate customized software to analyze medical images for patients requiring spine surgery. You will provide clinical and technical support to both surgeons and the engineers responsible for patient‑specific implant design.

Responsibilities

Operate customized software to analyze medical images for patients requiring spine surgery.

Perform meticulous pre‑ and post‑operative spine measurements according to various protocols to provide data to surgeons to assess and correct spinal deformities and surgical outcomes.

Work in a structured queue that assigns a new set of X‑ray images when the current has been completed to ensure a steady workflow.

Complete additional measurement requests for Research and Technology or other projects.

Provide support to both surgical planning engineers and spine surgeons.

Engage in virtual team meetings to expand knowledge and contribute to the development of others.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in a technical field.

Experience working in an environment that requires exceptional attention to detail.

Experience working in a constantly changing work environment.

Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)/Medical Imaging experience.

Spine research experience.

Experience working in an organized manner in a fast‑paced, virtual environment.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Benefits & Compensation
Salary range for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico): $57,200.00 – $85,800.00 USD.

This position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
