Position Summary:
The Warehouse Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement and management of inventory within our Zone Service Center. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping products using our Warehouse Management System and a variety of warehouse equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
Receive and store incoming materials in accordance with established Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes.
Accurately select, pack, and palletize shipments to meet customer and company requirements.
Sort and prepare less-than-truckload shipments.
Conduct routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; adhere to all company safety policies and perform daily safety inspections.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.
Prior experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is strongly desired.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Able and willing to work at heights and perform frequent physical activity, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, and climbing ladders.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures based on warehouse location.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical testing.
Strong attendance record and positive work ethic.
