Material Handler
As a Material Handler, you will perform a variety of warehouse duties including pulling and assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, conducting inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, and conducting daily cycle counts. You will also handle receiving duties such as unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking materials, and processing customer returns. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized facility and ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Pull and assemble customer orders
Check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness
Conduct inventory stock checks
Restock and label vendor products
Maintain displays for tools, caulk, etc.
Move, store, and replenish materials
Conduct daily cycle counts
Receive and unload inbound materials
Process inbound shipments
Stock materials
Process customer returns
Notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims
Operate forklift equipment
Maintain a clean and organized facility including sweeping, trash removal, and restroom and office maintenance
Obey all safety rules and report accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to management
Essential Skills

Loading and unloading capabilities

Experience with RF scanners

Previous warehouse experience
Work Environment
Work in a well-maintained facility equipped with forklifts and pallet jacks. The role requires you to work the first shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Dress code adheres to safety standards while ensuring comfort and functionality during warehouse operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dickson, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
