What the Role Looks Like

Leading the Consultation (Revenue Generation)
Conduct 40–60 Legal Roadmap Sessions each month, the primary entry point for new clients, and help clients determine whether Truce is the right fit.

Shaping the Strategy (Case Architecture)
Recognize unsuitable matters early, turn away cases that would harm the pod, and create the Primary Strategy Memo for each accepted case.

Mentoring the Team (Technical Leadership)
Lead two 30‑minute technical huddles per week, provide on‑call strategy support during critical moments, and give technical guidance to pod attorneys.

Building the Firm’s Intellectual Capital
Turn successful arguments and motions into firm‑wide templates; produce a Technical Tip of the Week when a huddle is missed.

The Shape of the Work
No management responsibilities, no caseload, and only emergency coverage as directed by the Managing Attorney.

Qualifications

7–10+ years of Washington family law experience, including high‑level trial and negotiation background.

Active Washington State Bar license in good standing.

Strong consultation skills – able to lead a 60–90 minute conversation that feels like a conversation, not a pitch.

Comfortable managing a consultation volume of 100+ hours per month while maintaining quality.

Alignment with collaborative and amicable family law. Formal collaborative training is a plus; completion of internal training is required.

Openness to AI‑assisted work; ability to use tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Gong.
