Human Resource Generalist

Uses knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical HR support to managers. Performs a variety of routine tasks such as maintaining records, HRIS entry, and processing employees. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR administrative work and providing analysis of HR programs and initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

Supports the human resources department in maintaining employee records and performs clerical or administrative duties including filing, processing mail, copying, and scheduling meetings.

Assists in the recruitment process by attending appropriate meetings, job fairs, and identifying candidates.

Assembles and updates new hire packages, including offer letters, ensuring all related Human Resources documentation and forms are current; tracks probationary periods of pre‑hire
ew hires and updates managers.

Assists staff with attendance, payroll, benefits, and general inquiries, and works to resolve discrepancies with the Human Resources Director and Payroll Manager.

Supports the orientation and onboarding programs.

Completes special assignments and projects as required.

Assists managers with the performance appraisal program on a yearly basis.

Researches and analyzes advanced HR issues and participates in problem resolution, possessing comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter.

Provides day‑to‑day advice, interpretation, and support to client departments regarding the application of HR policies, guidelines, procedures, and best practices.

Collects, analyzes, and presents data.

Conducts studies, performs research, and prepares reports for leadership.

Assists in the development and implementation of HR programs and policies.

Has experience in contract management with CLM software.

Consults with internal customers regarding complex transactions, troubleshoots HR‑related issues, and identifies stakeholders' business needs.

Develops, conducts, and/or participates in specialized presentations and training covering operational and technical HR information.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information and follows HIPAA regulations and policies.

Maintains regular and predictable attendance as an essential job function.

Communicates with patients, families, and co‑workers in person, in writing, and on the telephone.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

2 years of relevant experience.

General office experience required.

HR office experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to use computer skills, including keyboarding and practical data entry into data‑based software programs.

Experience with Learning, Performance, and Competency Management systems.

Full time, Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.
