Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Des Moines Metropolitan Area for a Multifamily Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing property systems, responding to maintenance requests, and preparing units for new tenants. The role also involves maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the properties, working closely with property managers, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency in general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing residential property systems
Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials needed for property repairs and maintenance
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with property managers, team members, and tenants
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain attention to detail
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
Experience with building codes and safety regulations is a plus
Prior experience as a maintenance technician or similar role is highly desirable
