Come join the fast-growing Electrical business class in the Building Engineering Services business group (BES) at HDR. BES provides industry leading electrical, mechanical, plumbing, site civil, structural, control systems, fire & life safety, and lighting design services for a wide variety of buildings that include public, municipal, private, and government project types. Projects are a balance of local as well as across the region. With a team of experienced staff in specific market sectors such as Water/Wastewater, Datacenters, Healthcare, and Industrial facilities, we provide engineering excellence for our clients.
In the role of an

Electrical BIM Coordinator , we\u2019ll count on you to:
Work under the direct supervision of a BIM Lead, Engineer, or other technical professional
Assist in the development of the electrical BIM model, with direct supervision from the BIM or Engineering staff
Responsible for assisting with the creation of the electrical BIM model, systems, content, and overall delivery output
Accurately model BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using Revit, Civil 3D, or other 3D software
Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, & diagrams of the electrical design using Revit, Civil 3D, or other 3D software
Maintain the electrical model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, matchlines, views, and sheets
Produce electrical-specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Technical certificate, Associate\u2019s degree, or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Required Qualifications
Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
