
Manager of Talent Acquisition

The Manager of Talent leads the Talent Acquisition strategy. You will forecast staffing needs, build diverse talent pipelines, and lead a high-performing recruitment team to ensure we attract and select top-tier leadership for our local councils.
Essential Functions
Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement a proactive sourcing and selection strategy for National and Local Council executives.
Leadership:
Manage, motivate, and develop the talent acquisition team and oversee the annual operating budget.
Executive Recruitment:
Lead executive-level searches and manage external vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
Operations:
Oversee the implementation of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), interview assessment tools, and service level agreements.
Branding & Culture:
Partner with Marketing to manage employment branding and ensure all recruitment processes align with organizational culture and EEO compliance.
Innovation:
Identify non-traditional sourcing methods and utilize social media to build passive candidate pipelines.
Analytics:
Use recruiting metrics and data to provide insights to HR leadership on emerging staffing trends and effectiveness.
Collaborative Leadership:
Ability to build trusting relationships across all levels of the organization.
Analytical Aptitude:
Experience creating data-driven reports to design recruitment solutions.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written skills with a focus on active listening and judgment‑free engagement.
Adaptability:
Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
Experience:
12+ years in Human Resources, with at least 7 years specifically managing Talent Acquisition teams.
