Job Summary
The candidate must coordinate and schedule daily LTL shipments.
Essential Responsibilities
Ensure shipments are processed accurately, mindful of cost and timing requirements.
Data entry required and accuracy of data is critical.
Professionally communicate via telephone and e-mail with internal and external customers.
Accurately label shipments.
Prepare accurate and timely paperwork for drivers to pick up shipments.
Establish and follow processes to ensure correct paperwork is completed timely per shipping requirements.
Detail-oriented and accurate with forms and numbers.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be customer-service oriented.
Perform job duties in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean work area.
Educational Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent; Inventory Control experience preferred, but not required.

Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
Exhibits good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Overtime required as business demands.
Essential Physical Functions
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
