Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and process billing statements and invoices in accordance with government regulations and policies.
Monitor and reconcile billing discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.
Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for billing and reporting purposes.
Analyze billing data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to financial and regulatory standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of billing operations.
Preferred Qualifications For The Billing Analyst
Experience
2+ years of experience in billing, finance, or a related role, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
Demonstrated experience in handling complex billing processes and managing large data sets.
Analysis of open contracts to prepare billing accurately.
Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Previous governmental billing highly desired.
Proficiency in billing and accounting software.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
