Overview

Golden Key Group (GKG) is seeking a Human Resources Specialist II to provide mid-level Human Resources support, including benefits counseling, processing HR actions (e.g., FEGLI, FEHB administration), and assisting with new hire orientation and separation processing. The role includes responding to HR inquiries and helping maintain HR records and systems. The position may also serve as Telework/Remote Work Coordinator or Wellness Program Administrator.
This position is being recruited in support of potential future contract awards, and qualified candidates may be considered for upcoming opportunities supporting federal government clients.

Responsibilities

Provide mid-level Human Resources support across HR programs and services.
Provide benefits counseling to employees.

Process HR actions including FEGLI and FEHB administration.

Assist with new hire orientation and separation processing.

Respond to employee HR inquiries.

Maintain HR records and systems.

Support administration of telework and remote work programs.

Support employee wellness program initiatives when applicable.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret

Strong knowledge of federal HR policies and benefits programs.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to interpret and apply HR regulations.

Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field + 3 years relevant HR experience.

Equivalency:Associate's Degree + 5 years relevant HR experience; OR 7 years relevant HR experience.

Desired Qualifications

Relevant professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI-PHR) is preferred.
