Heidner Property Management is seeking a reliable, self‑motivated Property Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of various commercial and residential properties. This role is essential to ensuring that all properties remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine property maintenance, including minor repairs, inspections, and preventative upkeep.
Use basic hand tools to complete tasks such as tightening, assembling, repairing, and adjusting fixtures or equipment.
Assist with general building upkeep (e.g., painting, patching, minor carpentry, changing light fixtures, door and lock adjustments).
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor property conditions and report issues to management promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate with vendors when necessary and provide access to properties as directed.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and company guidelines.
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old.
Proven experience using a variety of basic hand tools.
General maintenance, repair, or handyman experience preferred.
Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as needed.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Work Environment
This role involves on‑site work across multiple properties and may require occasional lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working both indoors and outdoors.
