Overview
vineyard vines is looking for a Site Merchandising Assistant to support the day‑to‑day management of our online shopping experience. This role focuses on helping maintain product displays, organizing site content, and assisting with merchandising tasks to ensure a smooth and engaging e-commerce experience. The Site Merchandising Assistant will report to the Director of Digital Merchandising and work closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in setting up and updating product assortments on the website to ensure items are displayed clearly and accurately.

Support the execution of visual merchandising updates, including homepage features, category pages, and product sorting.

Help maintain site organization, including navigation, product categorization, and basic taxonomy updates.

Conduct routine site checks to ensure products, images, and links are functioning properly and reflect current priorities.

Assist with uploading and organizing new arrivals, seasonal collections, and promotional items.

Partner with Web Ops and Creative teams to implement updates and ensure content is consistent across the site.

Help monitor basic site performance metrics and report any notable trends or issues to the team.

Support promotional periods by helping update sale sections and ensuring products are properly featured.

What You Bring

Up to 2 years of professional experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or a related field is preferred.

Highly detail‑oriented with a keen eye for product presentation and digital merchandising.

Strong analytical mindset—comfortable working with data to drive merchandising decisions.

Proficient in Excel, Google Analytics, and e-commerce merchandising tools (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, or similar platforms).

Experience with A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize merchandising strategies.

Familiarity with SEO principles and how they impact site merchandising.

Organized and task‑driven, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Creative and strategic thinker who understands how to balance brand storytelling with a data‑driven approach.
