Position Summary
Title:
Executive Assistant - Journey
Serves as Executive Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Organizational Strategy and Performance, providing administrative and programmatic support, managing multiple calendars, coordinating schedules, and acting as a confidential conduit for information among senior administrators and the shared services organization. This role is full‑time, permanent, and may include a hybrid work arrangement as permitted by System Office policy.
Responsibilities
Provide executive support, including calendar management, scheduling, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and preparation of documents. Assist with operational functions, support service coordination, maintain confidentiality, and manage competing priorities across executives.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma with three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience;
Associate’s degree in secretarial science, business administration, or related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience;
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting a senior‑level executive;
Experience working in a university setting;
Direct experience with scheduling and managing multiple calendars with Office 365;
Experience managing multiple competing priorities across executives.
