We’ve partnered with an established title and escrow company looking to add a
Commercial Escrow Officer
to their Elkhart office. This role focuses on
lower-volume, high-complexity deals
with direct exposure to attorneys, developers, and sophisticated clients.
Responsibilities
Manage
commercial escrow transactions from open to close
Review and prepare complex closing packages and title documents
Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, developers, and stakeholders
Resolve title issues, liens, and curative matters
Ensure compliance with commercial escrow and title procedures
Handle multiple transactions simultaneously with strong attention to detail
Qualifications
2+ years of
commercial escrow/title experience
Experience handling
commercial closings (not residential-only)
Strong understanding of:
Title commitments
Entity structures (LLCs, partnerships)
Complex deal flow
Excellent communication skills with professional clients
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Experience with ResWare or similar systems preferred
Eligible for notary and title licensing
