Overview
PIEDMONT HENRY HOSPITAL –IMAGING DEPARTMENT
Imaging jobs at Piedmont Henry offer the opportunity for you to work in a state-of-the-arthospital featuring the verybestequipment, great staff, flexible scheduling, and a great workenvironment. Our Imaging department has their own transporters and patient lift equipment to help move patients for imaging exams. We have 8, 10 and 12 hours shifts as well as weekend option pay. Our department includes X-ray Techs, CT Techs, MRI Techs, Ultrasound Techs, Mammography Techs, Interventional Radiology Techs, OR X-ray Techs, Unit Secretaries, Transporters, RN's, PA's, and Radiologist.
We are a 259-bed hospital, a level III trauma center, a level III neonatal intensive care unit and stroke certified. Our Emergency room sees about 100,000 patients a year.
Imaging Department Overview
Our Imaging department consist of the following:
X-ray 3 Routine Rooms & 2 FluoroRooms (86,000 exams per year)
CT 4 CTSiemensrooms (72,000 exams per year)
MRI` 2 MRI units (1.5T Siemens & 3T GE) (10,000 exams per year)
Ultrasound 3SiemensRooms (21,000 exams per year)
Breast Health Center 4HologicDiag/Screening Rooms & 1 DEXA (23,000 per year)
IR 1GERoom (2,500examsper year)
Outpatient DiagnosticCenter CT,MRI, Mammography & X-ray (11,000 exams per year)
Surgery (OR) 5 GE OEC C-Arms
CSU Pre and Post unit for patients receiving moderate sedation
Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

(R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (R) Upon Hire Required and
BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
