Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role within the Customer Service Department by ensuring accurate processing of transactions and compliance with applicable laws and administrative orders. This role prioritizes attention to detail and involves interacting with the public in a confident manner. The representative must follow written procedures for a significant range of tasks, possess superior communication and organizational skills to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, process and maintain official records, and act in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies. Responsibilities include recording documents, responding to customer inquiries, passport processing, issuing marriage licenses, and managing official records. The position also supports continuity of operations planning (COOP), assists with emergency response protocols, and provides administrative support for long‑range planning, project coordination, and documentation of executive‑level decisions. Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, English or a related discipline.
Relevant Experience
Proven experience in a legal or judicial setting, records management, customer service, or a related administrative role preferably in a highly regulated industry.
