Assignment Duration:
13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending
Compensation:
$4,538 - $5,171 per week (all‑in)
Includes taxable W2 wages plus non‑taxable per diems (lodging and meals) if residence >50 miles from facility.

Summary
Assists in implementing best practice models and care standards to support high‑quality patient care. Partners with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, helps address patient care concerns, and ensures a safe, compliant environment. Provides clinical oversight and supports staff performance.
Essential Functions
Builds collaborative, cross‑functional relationships and fosters a positive team environment.
Coaches, mentors, and provides ongoing performance feedback to support staff development.
Oversees daily operations of the unit, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to policies and procedures.
Resolves escalated issues and removes barriers impacting team performance and productivity.
Develops and executes work plans aligned with operational priorities and deadlines.
Coordinates staffing, resources, and workflow to meet operational and budgetary goals.
Monitors productivity, utilization, and key performance metrics to drive results.
Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and maintains audit readiness.
Supervises multidisciplinary teams in a 24/7 environment, ensuring accountability and operational excellence.
Supports process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and overall performance.
Qualifications
BSN or BA in a health care related field required. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Current California RN License required.
BLS and ACLS Certifications required.
Minimum 3‑4 years of clinical Labor & Delivery experience required, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Recent Charge RN experience in a high‑risk L&D unit required.
Preferred
Masters preferred.
