Data Engineer (GCP)
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate has strong experience with SQL, Python, Scala, and Apache Airflow, and enjoys working with large, complex datasets.

Responsibilities

Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Scala on GCP

Orchestrate and monitor workflows using Apache Airflow

Write efficient SQL queries and develop reliable data models

Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability

Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams

Requirements

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala

Hands‑on experience with Apache Airflow

Experience working with GCP data services (e.g., BigQuery, GCS)

Solid problem‑solving and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: The annual salary for this position is between $100-115K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
