Occupational Therapy Assistant

Reporting to Director of Rehab
Responsibilities

Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
Follow developed recovery plans.
Deliver therapy treatments.
Address the whole patient and see them as an individual.
Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
Adapt to patient needs and find joy in the variety of work settings.
Collaborate with peers and refer patients to additional care as needed.
Put patients first, ensuring they and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
