Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Other certifications and licenses as required
Essential Work Functions
Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans
Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., lung capacity measurement, sample collection)
Treat patients using chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, etc.
Set up and monitor equipment to deliver correct oxygen therapy
Observe and record patient status and progress
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients/family on medication and equipment use
Perform other duties within RRT scope
Required Essential Skills

Strong interpersonal communication
English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
PC skills and ability to follow instructions
Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend
Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel
Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and procedural assistance
Mental resilience to handle high‑pressure, frequent public contact, irregular schedules, and detail concentration
Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
