Description
The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse - DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate mastery of core competencies including assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service to provide patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner while promoting evidence-based practice and maintaining quality, safety and service standards.
Qualifications
Active Florida RN license required
7 months of RN experience in the PACU; ED or ICU experience is welcome
Associate degree in nursing or bachelor’s degree in nursing; BSN preferred
RNs hired prior to 2/2012 are not required to have a BSN to remain in a non-leadership RN role
RNs hired after 2/2012 with an Associate degree have 3 years from hire date to complete a BSN
BLS and ACLS required
Certification in area of practice preferred
