Responsibilities
Dietary Aides assist the cooks with all aspects of our high‑quality, nutritious food service, including preparation, serving and cleanup in accordance with person‑specific dietary restrictions and needs and facility, industry and regulatory safety standards for kitchens and dining spaces. The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cleanup and service of all food items to persons served, families, guests, and staff.
Schedule
Part‑time; 1:00 pm‑7:00 pm
3–4 days a week, up to 24 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holidays.

The rehabilitation process from a brain injury or other neurological condition is a 24/7 job for each person served, and our nurses collaborate with our medical providers, dietary team and other individuals in our transdisciplinary team of experts to keep persons served healthy along the way. There is great joy in watching someone do something for the first time after their injury. You’ll have the opportunity to watch people take their first steps, say their first words, or even enjoy their first snack or favorite meal. You can be a large part of the journey that each person served takes, making memories with them along the way. We are a not‑for‑profit organization founded by survivors and their families, and each person served is a new member of that family.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency
Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with individuals who have experienced a brain injury or other neurological conditions
Experience working with institutional/hospitality healthcare meal preparation
Ideal Candidate Attributes
Is willing to be a daily champion for individuals impacted by brain injury and treat them like family
Is team‑oriented, a lifelong learner, and an excellent communicator in all formats: in‑person, phone, email, etc.
