Overview
A nonexempt LPN role responsible for nursing care under the supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurse(s). The position may involve clinical and administrative duties including physical assessments, medication administration, patient education, care of the patient environment and organizational tasks. Maintains knowledge of regulatory standards and sustains these standards in daily operations. Initiates and implements patient teaching plans. Clinical direction, oversight and competency review are provided by medical providers and the ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care under supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurses.
Perform clinical tasks including physical assessments and medication administration.
Promote wellness through patient education and teaching.
Maintain the patient environment and handle organizational tasks.
Adhere to regulatory standards and sustain compliance in daily operations.
Support clinical direction, oversight and competency review as directed by medical providers and the ambulatory development team.
Qualifications
Education : Degree from Nursing Program LPN.
License/Certification : Current NJ-LPN License.
BLS required.
