Requirements – Ultrasound Tech (RDMS) | Bronx, NY
Experience
Minimum 1 year of General Ultrasound experience (required)
Experience in diagnostic medical sonography in an acute care setting preferred
Education
Associate’s Degree (required)
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including military training if applicable)
Certifications & Licensure
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) – REQUIRED (via ARDMS)
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Preferred
Core Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of general ultrasound imaging procedures
Ability to perform accurate diagnostic scans and imaging
Understanding of patient positioning and image optimization techniques
Strong attention to detail and image quality standards
Ability to work in a fast‑paced radiology/diagnostic environment
Work Requirements
Ability to work Day shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 5x7 schedule)
Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
Ability to work full‑time (35 hours/week)
Additional Requirements
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
Must be flexible for in‑person or phone interviews
