Job Details
As a member of our clinical team, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments. You will develop personalized rehabilitation plans, operate advanced physical therapy equipment, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations

Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate degree in physical therapy

Experience as a Physical Therapist (new graduates welcome)

Other certifications or licenses may be required

Summary
The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, you will create personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy.

Essential Work Functions

Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and patient history.

Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings.

Implement treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Operate specialized physical therapy equipment safely and maintain proper calibration.

Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations in the medical record.

Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and injury prevention.

Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.

Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.

Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.

Required Essential Skills

Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Proficient in PC skills.

Physical abilities: remaining stationary, moving equipment (50–100 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.

Interpersonal skills: working with diverse personnel positively.

Technical skills: fine manipulation, assistance with procedures, equipment use.

Mental requirements: manage frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, handle irregular schedules, maintain concentration.

Sensory: visual acuity and communication ability.
