
PD Hospital Assistant I - Radiology Clinical Support - PD - Variable

Your Role on the Team
Incumbent assists direct patient care providers with safe patient handling, including lifting, positioning, transferring, and transporting, as well as stocking, cleaning, and set‑up of special procedure rooms. The incumbent will track, deliver, clean, and perform basic repair of equipment and supplies, ensuring that all equipment is available and in good working condition when needed.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications
Skill to perform basic mathematical computations and to use general office equipment including computers, copiers, and calculators
Must be available to work overtime as patient care needs demand
Minimum six months relevant experience in a healthcare environment
Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a hospital assistant
Knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques and medical terminology
Licenses and Certifications
Basic Life Support
