Position
In‑House Contract Registered Nurse (RN) for Night Shifts at AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette.
Job Responsibilities
Communicate with physicians, CCO/co‑workers about changes in patient clinical condition including diagnostic study results and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Handle medical conditions such as respiratory failure, sedation/pain management, pressor management, cardiac/anti‑arrhythmic management, complicated infections, and chronic non‑healing wounds. Provide direct and indirect patient care in a long‑term acute care setting.
Contract Details
12‑week contract.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
ICU, Critical Care, or Step‑Down experience preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
