looking for a Dental Office Receptionist in Long Beach, CA! Be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our patients while supporting our dedicated dental team.
Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using dental management software.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services and procedures.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
Assist with insurance verification and claims processing.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient comfort.
Bilingual Preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental office administration is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and staff.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in dental software and basic computer applications.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable.
