
MANAGER OF SPECIALTY PHARMACY SERVICES

Responsibilities
The Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Services is responsible for the management of personnel, operations, informatics, and regulatory compliance of multiple service lines including specialty pharmacy services and infusion therapy services. The manager is the senior clinical leader for each department. The manager oversees work standards, competencies, education, work schedules, inventory, budgeting, financial statements, and workflow for each department. This manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with multiple accreditations and expanding business growth and development of each reporting service line. As a member of the Pharmacy Leadership Team, the manager contributes to departmental oversight, teamwork, and strategy under the leadership of the Director of Outpatient Pharmacy Services. The Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Services works with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement programs and services in support of the organization’s mission and strategic plan.
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited School of Pharmacy
Two years of pharmacy supervisory experience
Required Registration/License/Certification
Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Alabama
Active and clear Registered Pharmacist License and Controlled Substances Permit issued by the State of Alabama.
