Assist our team in showcasing earthwork projects, heavy equipment operations, and construction achievements through engaging digital content. This part-time/summer role is perfect for a creative student gaining hands-on experience in construction industry media.
Responsibilities
Capture and edit photos/videos of job sites, equipment (excavators, dozers, dump trucks), and team activities using smartphone or basic camera
Use a drone to fly jobsites and gather aerial footage of earthwork progress
Engage with project managers to learn about site progress, interesting activities, or milestones for authentic content
Create and schedule posts for social media highlighting project progress, safety tips, and behind-the-scenes earthworks
Develop social media engagement posts for year-round use, brainstorming topics and ideas like equipment spotlights, seasonal site prep tips, or subcontractor features
Design simple graphics for promotions like subcontract opportunities or hiring events
Monitor engagement, track trends in construction social media, and suggest content ideas tied to our Maine-based gravel/sand operations
Assist in website editing and updates, including project galleries and short blog posts on earthwork topics
Provide useful, relevant marketing feedback to benefit the company as a whole, such as content performance insights or industry trend observations
