Travel Ultrasound Technologist – General/Vascular
Fusion Medical Staffing–Radiology is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Marquette, Michigan. The assignment begins on 05/18/2026 and requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour evening shifts.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
Minimum of one year recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Valid Ultrasound license in accordance with state regulations
Preferred: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS)
ARRT certification in sonography
Additional certifications or licenses as required for this position
Essential Work Functions
Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into patient care
Prepare and position patients for accurate imaging while ensuring comfort and safety
Perform general and vascular sonographic examinations and assess image clarity
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
Apply analytical and technical expertise to perform procedures effectively
Work efficiently in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments while maintaining professionalism
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per legal and regulatory standards
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
Reading, writing, and communicating in English
Ability to follow instructions and proficiency in PC skills
Physical ability to maintain stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal skill to work positively with diverse personnel
Technical/motor skill for fine manipulation, assist with procedures, and use equipment
Mental ability to cope with public contact, meet deadlines, handle irregular schedules, and maintain concentration
Sensory skill to possess visual acuity and effective communication
