Interventional Radiologist at UNC Caldwell
UNC Health is seeking a clinically oriented, board‑certified or board‑eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our team in Lenoir, NC. The role offers full‑time, part‑time or per diem opportunities.
Responsibilities
Perform interventional radiology procedures in the radiology department.
Provide outpatient interventional radiology services.

Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship program.
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure.
Education & Credential Requirements
Active member of the Caldwell Hospital Medical Staff meeting board certification requirements; graduation from an accredited medical school.
Licensure & Certification
DEA, ACLS, BLS; North Carolina Medical License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred; board certification in Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient communication in English.
High‑level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills essential for diagnosing patient conditions.
Physical Demands
Requires sitting, using hands, speaking and hearing regularly. May stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Predominantly in a medical office setting with moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Location: Lenoir, North Carolina. Work Type: Per Diem. Standard Hours per Week: 4.00. Assignment: Onsite, Day Job. Exempt from Overtime: Yes.
