ADMISSIONS MENTAL HEALTH TECH/PRN/NIGHTS

Responsibilities
Mental Health Tech provides direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders to ensure safety and well-being. This is a per-diem position (8 hour shift).
Assist other staff members with actively disturbed and violent patients, requesting backup personnel when needed
Assist in the transfer and discharge of patients by assisting the patient in dressing and collecting personal possessions, valuables and carrying out the established discharge and transfer procedures
Attend all mandatory monthly meetings
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Two years experience working in a psychiatric setting
CPR (May be acquired after hire)
Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills
