Wellness Nurse

The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that residents’ daily medication needs are met compassionately, maintaining their dignity and allowing them to live their life to the fullest.

Responsibilities
Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per the Physician’s orders.
Follow the “Six rights” of medication administration and all policies regarding medication management.
Use the eMAR system for administration.
Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding medication administration and care.
Provide direct resident care.
Supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and other tasks as appropriate.
Serve as a leader demonstrating Bickford Mission “Whatever it takes” to team members on shift.
Qualifications
Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
Willingness to take additional training or education required by state.
CPR and First Aid certifications required.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational and time‑management skills.
Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Ability or willingness to learn Bickford’s eMAR system.
