Schedule & Compensation
Day & Swing shift opportunities available
Flexible scheduling options
Must be available for at least one weekend day
Pay Range: $30–$38/hour (based on experience)
Eligible for performance-based bonus
+$4/hr shift differential for shifts worked Monday–Sunday, 7:00pm–7:00am
+$2/hr shift differential for shifts worked Saturday & Sunday, 7:00am–7:00pm
Position Summary
As an Emergency LVT at PSVSE, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care to critically ill and injured patients. This role requires strong technical skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to stay calm and focused in high-acuity situations. You’ll work closely with ER doctors and assistants to provide advanced nursing care while helping drive workflow, patient safety, and exceptional client communication. What You’ll Do
Perform advanced technical skills including IV catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, and patient stabilization
Triage incoming ER patients and assist in prioritizing care based on medical urgency
Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes promptly to the medical team
Administer medications and treatments with precision and attention to detail
Support emergency procedures and diagnostics with confidence and efficiency
Provide clear, compassionate communication to clients during high-stress situations
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure treatments are properly documented
Collaborate with a highly skilled ER and specialty team to ensure seamless patient care
Take initiative in workflow, patient advocacy, and team support
What We’re Looking For
Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required
Minimum of 1 year of veterinary experience required (ER or specialty preferred)
Strong technical and critical thinking skills
Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and compassionate in emergency situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A growth mindset with a passion for learning and continuous improvement
