Work Shift
Full Time. Multiple shift options available to self‑schedule up to 8 weeks in advance. The monthly schedule includes 2 Monday shifts, 2 Friday shifts, and 3 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun). This position is eligible for full‑time benefits.
Position Overview
The Wellstar Diagnostic Float Team (WEST Team) supports a variety of imaging services across our facilities. Region Four includes Columbia County Medical Center and MCG Health Medical Center. As a Radiologic Technologist for Region Four, you will apply your expertise to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at each location you serve.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting. ARRT‑R (Radiography) certification.
Responsibilities
Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and competently, adjusting technique to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; identify and report equipment issues promptly.
Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and help maintain/restock crash cart and life‑support equipment as required.
Support operations and compliance, keep areas orderly and stocked, transport patients safely, complete charging/clerical tasks, follow regulatory requirements, and elevate issues to the supervisor.
