Eventide is currently hiring for a Part-Time Day Medication Aide (MA40).
Job Details
Scheduled hours are from 6am to 6:30pm with an every third weekend and holiday rotation. The scheduled days for this position are Friday – Saturday – Sunday.
The Medication Aide requires an active, good-standing MA40 and a CNA license.
Ideal Candidate
At least age 18.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
Essential Job Duties
Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
Assists with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout the shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping senior/client/caregiver/Team member/manager needs, call lights, when necessary.
Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of Team member preference.
Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by ensuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
Additional essential functions while utilizing a MA40:
Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
Compensation
We offer a competitive starting pay range of $19.00–$21.28 per hour for MA's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, on employment status and shift worked.
