Southwestern Vermont Medical Center – Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Dartmouth Health's Department of Psychiatry seeks a full‑time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to be based primarily at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT at a new inpatient psychiatric unit for adolescents. This position is an alternating schedule with some night and weekend coverage included in the basic schedule, as well as generous allowances for vacation and conference time.
Responsibilities
Join a dedicated team and work collaboratively to provide state‑of‑the‑art inpatient psychiatric care to adolescents age 12‑17 in an inpatient setting.
Work as part of an experienced interdisciplinary team of psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers to deliver high‑quality care.
Engage in clinical supervision, precepting, and didactic teaching in the APRN and other psychiatric education training programs if of interest.

SVMC is an integrated, non‑profit health system that includes a 99‑bed hospital and 25 primary care and specialty practices at nine locations in the greater Bennington area and nearby New York and Massachusetts.
