Job Summary
Baze Animal Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, and surgeries by preparing equipment and maintaining sterile fields using aseptic techniques.

Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques for procedures such as blood draws, injections, catheterizations, and physical examinations.

Administer medications accurately following veterinary instructions, including oral, injectable, and topical treatments.

Support animal husbandry tasks such as feeding when needed and cleaning kennels to ensure optimal animal welfare.

Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client communication, and maintaining detailed medical records.

Conduct laboratory tests and prepare samples for diagnostics to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Qualifications
Prior kennel experience or animal handling background with a strong understanding of pet care principles.

Experience working in a veterinary clinic or similar setting is highly preferred; veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus.

Ability to handle animals confidently across various species with skills in dog handling and animal restraint.

Familiarity with medication administration methods and basic animal physiology concepts required.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members at the front desk or during procedures.

Willingness to learn new skills.
