Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Home healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing fundamental patient care and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients under the supervision of the nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
Help clients with mobility by assisting in walking, exercising, and transferring them to and from beds and wheelchairs.
Report vital information change on client conditions to staff and document care accurately.
Ensure a clean and safe environment by maintaining client hygiene and tidying up patient rooms.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, actively listening to their needs and concerns.
Collaborate with the team to develop effective care plans for clients.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Requirements
Valid Texas license/certification in good standing
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current CPR/BLS certification
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Strong communication and compassion for patients
Ability to handle physical tasks like lifting and assisting patients.
