The Strategic Financial Analyst position is a uniquely elevated role designed for a high-performing finance professional who is ready to take on increased responsibility and visibility. Positioned between a Financial Analyst and a Senior Financial Analyst, this role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the company's most strategic initiatives, including M&A, capital investments, and transformation efforts.
This individual will serve as a key partner to senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making through robust financial modeling and scenario analysis. The ideal candidate is analytical, business-minded, and eager to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with direct exposure to executive leadership.
What You’ll Do
Develop Strategic Models:
Lead complex modeling efforts to support M&A, capital investments, and transformation initiatives.
Enable Executive Decision-Making:
Translate ideas and strategies into financial insights, working directly with top company leadership to assess impact and outcomes.
Drive Scenario Analysis:
Build and refine financial scenarios to support new business strategies, quantify risk, and evaluate long-term value.
Support M&A Activities:
Assist in evaluating potential acquisitions, including synergy modeling and business case development.
Guide Capital Allocation:
Analyze capital projects and assess investment priorities from a financial and strategic lens.
Communicate Insights:
Create and deliver compelling, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership across functions.
Leverage Key Tools:
Excel will be your primary toolkit for modeling; familiarity with platforms like SQL, CoStar, or Bloomberg is a plus but not required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You bring 2 + years of experience in FP&A, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a related financial role.
You're highly proficient in financial modeling, with a strong grasp of scenario planning and business case analysis.
You’ve supported strategic finance efforts, such as M&A, transformation, or capital planning.
You thrive on solving complex problems and connecting financial analysis to broader business goals.
