Position Overview
This Maintenance Technician II position is located at Agave, a 58-unit affordable housing property in Altadena, CA. The role involves repairing and maintaining most items on a property without outside vendor assistance. The technician will work at a property with 100+ units and ensures a broad range of maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
All facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning and locks.
Perform all interior repairs related to walls and doors.
Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs and switches.
Change AC filters, check coils, clean and repair as necessary.
Perform annual unit inspections.
Ensure turnover of units within 5 days.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ Years of related apartment maintenance experience.
Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.
CADL, clean DMV and reliable transportation.
HVAC certification preferred.

Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must have basic computer skills. Salary range: $26.25 - $38.55 per hour; hiring range for new employees generally $26.25 - $32.55 per hour, DOE.
